Mission Statement
My mission is to provide quality literacy support to my students by teaching them the strategies they need to improve skills such as phonemic awareness, reading fluency and comprehension, confidence, and test-taking skills. My ultimate goal is to close the reading gap by increasing their reading level within one school year or less.
Vision Statement
My vision is to see all of my students reach a point where they can flourish within the area of literacy and overall academically. I want to see them climb new heights in their reading levels so that they can apply those skills to other subjects and also in their future adult lives.
My promise to you
I understand that you are a parent/guardian who loves and values your child. You want the absolute best for them which includes their education. My promise is to educate them to the best of my ability by not only using the best teaching methods to make reading easier for them, but also to always present with the utmost professionalism and care. I believe in keeping ongoing communication with you as their parent/guardian so that we can both cooperate as partners in their education.
My promise to your child
Your child deserves to be taught by an educator who not only cares about their academic performance but also about their overall well-being.
