What's in it for you and your child?

With Success in Reading, your child will receive:

1. A FREE reading assessment that will assess their ability to read grade level sight words, read and comprehend fiction and nonfiction passages, determine their reading speed, accuracy, and expression (fluency).

2. An optional dyslexia screening that will determine their ability to identify and produce rhyming words, blend sounds, and read phonics patterns. This is not for a diagnosis. The screening will simply allow me to see if your child presents a gap in skills that could suggest dyslexia may be contributing to their reading challenges. This will allow you to take the necessary steps to address the root problem and get any other related services that they need to succeed. 

3. Personalized reading lessons:

The reading assessment will allow me to target your child's exact pain points and teach them using lessons that will focus on the skills that they need to improve. This way, they can see faster results and increase their reading level more quickly. 

4. Mentorship is included:

I have always enjoyed mentoring my students so I incorporate mentoring into my tutoring sessions. I won't simply help your child with reading and send them on their way. Motivation, increased confidence and self-esteem, improved study skills, organizational skills, and a safe, judgement-free space is what your child will receive from me.
